In honor of the Fourth of July holiday, I thought I'd post this song of mine titled, Everything American. This was my first attempt at writing a country song and my only patriotic song. I originally wrote this with my co-writer, Gina Paoni, after the events of 9/11. I wanted to write something that would unite the country and make people feel good about being American. I picked up a third co-writer, Tom Fritz, earlier this year (2023) to help re-write some of the lyrics to keep the song current. But I still think that it could be a timeless American anthem like God Bless the USA.
My plan is to market the hell out of this song over the next year in time for the 2024 U.S. Presidential election and see how many placements I can get with it.
I will use this blog to keep everyone up-to-date on the progress of my efforts.
